There are also two giant rocking unicorns and two full-size ships, a Viking ship and a pirate ship. It is used in an afternoon show with a Viking attack on the dragon. OROVILLE - One exciting offerings will be the 7,000-pound dragon sculpture, which is rigged to “breathe” fire. This year, the fair is free and open to the public with no separate fees for any entertainment or events. The event was moved to Memorial Day Weekend after being previously held in April to avoid the chance of rain. Baldwin says she hopes to see at least as many at the fair this year. The 2018 fair had over 10,000 in attendance. According to organizer Allison Baldwin, there have been three annual renaissance fairs previously organized in Redding which led to the organization of this event in Oroville last year.

The event is sponsored by Feather Falls Casino and offers a wide variety of entertainment. OROVILLE - Oversized dragons, sword fights and handmade wares will abound when the Feather Falls Renaissance Faire returns May 25 to Oroville.
